Powerful Revo540 Control Software integrates the “jeweler friendly” interface of Matrix and eliminates difficult and time-consuming set-up issues. This built-in software produces a comprehensive .RVO file with the necessary G-Code, STL file, and other job data needed to mill the item. The mill automatically recommends fixtures and strategies for the job based on this data. Any file format that can be imported into Matrix can be prepared for milling on the Revo including 28 different 3D model and graphics formats. Matrix can also export 5 different CAM output formats. The Revo software allows you to make precision jog movements, start, stop, and control the spindle, feed rate, and coolant flow. The graphically driven display even shows you a full 3D view of the work piece, mill, and fixture while operating and gives you critical information including estimated completion time.

Tool Path Builder easily generates the required G-Code (industry-standard numerical code that directs the cutter path) automatically from the Matrix software while selecting cutter type and preferred surface finish.

Coolant Used produces smooth clean surface right off the mill.

No Coolant Used produces rough messy surface requiring additional cleaning.

Increased Milling Speed produces most parts 30% to 50% faster than previous Revo540 model and features larger size 23 motors.

Specially Formulated Liquid Coolant System vastly improves surface finish. The Revo540 features digitally controlled coolant flow, instead of the messy flush type system found on most mills. The main fixture plate has a “moat” so that coolant is captured and re-circulated ensuring a clean milling environment.

Rotary Fixture turns your ring 360-degrees to precisely mill details all the way around the outside of the shank. The sturdy 3-jaw chuck assembly holds standard wax tubes securely while providing full rotation on the A axis.

Flat Milling Fixture allows precision milling for flat work with an innovative self-centering clamping system and multiple holding plate sizes. Automatic mode will even stop the spindle and coolant, rotate the part 180 degrees and restart the spindle and coolant to complete the item.

Hi-Speed Spindle utilizes the industry-leading NSK Astro 250 spindle with a variable speed range from 1,000 to 25,000 RPM and uses 1/8 inch tools.

Rotary 3-Sided Mandrel inserts into a fully customizable support hub to facilitate seamless transition between the autoflip and rotary strategies and to achieve non-slip milling on virtually every part of a model.

New Basic Milling Strategies help to achieve better detail on more complex parts. Two of the brand-new strategies utilize the new Rotary Plus One fixture, making it easy to mill those hard-to-cut details on pieces like heads, bezels, and pendants. New Innovative Fixtures include the Multi-Flip Fixture makes it possible to run up to six jobs consecutively. Jumbo Fixtures can run larger auto-flip pieces than ever before possible. Tailstock Fixture accommodates both of these larger fixtures by aligning them with the rotation of the A axis and supporting them on the far end of the fixture. And Rotary Plus One Fixture accommodates the two new strategies – Rotary Plus One and Flat on Rotary Plus One – with a single new fixture that can achieve both top-down and rotary passes without the need to change fixtures.
